I am making my daughters hair bows, and I would like to know how to keep the ends from freying???HEL

It is a clear liquid in a little bottle called frey check. It works great. You get it in the sewing department.

If you are using a synthetic ribbon you can melt the ends with a hot curling iron or if it is a natural fiber just dip the ends in clear nail polish after you cut them.

ok.. I make my own hairbows sometimes too like ribbons and things and what I do is I take a match or a lighter and melt the ends of the hairbow or ribbon and it doesn't fray anymore problem solved hope I helped

Paint the end with nail polish. It works for tights also.

YOu can use pinking sheers or you can make tiny hems on the with little stitches you do by hand or you can dip the ends in wax which is messy and not advisable



Or you can turn the ends up and glue them with fabric glue
