use a clip with a plastic broad base that you can glue the ribbon on. (glue gun not super glue)

fold one end of the ribbon to make a loop half way up so it has a tail this side will be shorter than the other as you need the other to cross over so it needs to be slightly longer.

once gathered start on the other side.

fold into the loop then fold over the two loops %26amp; down to make the other tail. secure with one or two hand stitches. then use the clue gun to hold onto the clip.
