I just had a baby girl and want to learn how to make hair bows. Does anyone have any ideas?

Try this website for several free projects including how to make bows and ruffle socks. They are free and different ones are offered periodically.

BTW, the poshbowpeep site given by the user above charges $19.99 for the instructions. Only the shipping is free because it is a pdf file.

First of all, wait until she's older, closer to a year. As a baby, all she'll do is pull the bows off, and more than likely put them into her mouth. As cute as it may look to see other babies with bows, clips, headbands, etc.. in their hair, they can be a choking hazard.

Then I suggest that you get one of the step-by-step instruction booklets for making hair accessories. Sorry, but it's just too much information to hand type here.

This one is free in PDF format.

If you don't have Adobe Reader, you can download that for free here:

You can buy a thin ribbon and tie a small shoelace type bow trim the edges and then use karo syrup or ky jelly to make it stick to her head. they easily wash off and wont harm her
