How do I get a hair-bow to stay in my Yorkie's hair?

Are there any secrets for making bows stay in place? I have tried the barrettes and the rubberbands and my little girl is still shaking them out. Any suggestions?

The barrettes just won't stay in, so don't even bother with them. The hair bands are the only ones that will work. Get the wee little ones and tie them on TIGHT. I know it seems mean but you're going to loosen it in a second. Once you get it wrapped as many times as you can at the base of her head, pull up on the band a little, to loosen it so that she doesn't feel like she just had a face lift.

Try velcro bows. The velcro can be placed virtually anywhere and is much stronger and more flexiable than a barette...It's also more comfortable than a rubber band, I'm sure. If you can't find bows with velcro backs you can always buy velcro circles at a local department store craft section and put the velcro on yourself.

Yes the pro's use superglue. Although go to a wig store and they have wig and weave glue.

Rubber bands are the ONLY way!

You must not be using the CORRECT bands %26amp;/or NOT winding em TIGHT enough!

***ALWAYS*** check that you haven't pinched any SKIN into the band!!! So you don't KILL that pinch!!! Yep,seen that happen!!! Sure leaves an ugly scar!
