How do you make hair bows??

1. Purchase ribbon from a fabric store or craft store. Ribbons come in all designs and patterns.

--a.Purchase a 1 to 1-1/4 inch wide ribbon

--b.Purchase a 1/4 inch wide contrasting color.

--c. Purchase clips from the hair section in any store

--d. Hand sewing needles and matching thread

2. Make a loop with the main ribbon the size you want and sew the ends together.

3. Use thread or a light string and wrap it around the loop several times to make the "pinch" in the middle of the bow. Tie the thread into a knot. This will hold the shape of the bow.

4. Depending on your clip, you could tie the top of the clip to the ribbon with the thread in the same manner. This will hold the clip in place and make it easier to include it with Step 5.

5. Take the 1/4 inch wide ribbon and wrap it around the larger loop covering the thread and the top of the clip. Use a needle and thread to sew the ends together.

6. If the clip is too wide or awkward to work around you can add it on as the last step. Attach it with a needle and thread. Make the stitches large enough to sew the top of the clip onto the bow.

You can use glue, but I believe that a needle and thread will look better and be stronger than glue.

PS: If you have never sewn with a needle and thread this project is a good one to start because the stitches are underneath the bow so no one will be able to see them.

or however you style it and then jusy make a bow.

i have these neon bows.

so hot with my hair down and straightened and when i make it edgy with hair wax.

everyone asks where i get them, but i never tell.

but i will tell you since i don't really know you:

i got a pack of 4 (neon blue, neon green, neon yellow, and neon pink) for 2 bucks.

at the toddler section at wal-mart!!!!!!!!
