I have tried dipping the ends of the ribbon in the liquid stuff called "Fray Block" but it leaves the edges noticeably crunchy and it doesn't stop all of the fraying. I thought about using a a wood burning tool but I think it may leave the edges black...can some one help please. Thank you so much!

You could try some of that iron-on hemming stuff. I've seen it as a powder and as a bias strip. It stops fabric from raveling.

Items that are similar, but made with thicker material, are iron-on patches that you can cut to fit your ribbons.

There are many GREAT instructions out there for making hair bows and how to do steps like the heat sealing. I bought some awesome instructions from www.sweetbabybowtique.com and she explains how to heat seal. Simple step by step instructions!! Hope that helps :)

Try a hot iron maybe or the coil of your electric stove.
