The ribbons with wire edges would be great, as you can then keep the bow in perfect shape. The wire edges would allow you to bend the bow back into shape if it was twisted wrong or flattened.

Anything silk or satin.

Satin or silk is the best material. They wont dry out the hair. Cotton dries the hair out.
For the color make different bows with the colors in your closet.
