If you do not have any experience in this then do not attempt it.

Is it really worth it ? How much did you pay for the bow ? If you paid less than $100 then it is probably better to buy a new one.

You can rehair your own bow but it will cost about $200 in tools. You need these tools. You cannot just buy them from the hardware store.They are specialist violin tools and you have to have the skills to use them.

I would not do it yourself. Get it professionally done. If you haven't done it before I wouldn't risk ruining such an important instrument to music making. I ALWAYS take my bow in to the violin shop to get rehaired. It's worth the money. Trust me.
